First an operation manager with FRANCE TELECOM, Daniel took up his first top role position as TRANSPAC's CEO. TRANSPAC was France's leading provider of data communication to corporate customers. Under his tenure from 1990 to 2000, the company radically transformed its model shifting from a network access provider to a service company selling and implementing customer designed solutions. He then doubled the company size to €1bn of annual revenue whilst maintaining an healthy profitability.
Beginning early 2000, Daniel focused on building a world-wide leader on corporate telecommunications market as CEO for GLOBAL ONE then EQUANT. He personally operated from Paris, Amsterdam and Washington DC where he resided for a time with his family. He personally managed a major merger involving 13 000 employees and a drastic turnaround eliminating in excess of $350m of recurring costs out of a $3bn annual revenues company.
In 2005, Daniel considered several take-over projects or building a new company from scratch and made private investments, then he joined ERENIS as CEO in 2006. A VC funded company, ERENIS was the first Fiber Optic based services provider to consumers in Paris. The company had built the stronger customer base on its territory and logically attracted interest. Daniel successfully led the sales process to the largest alternate Telco and took care of the merger within NEUF CEGETEL as Fiber Optic Broadband Customers General Manager.
