Gilles Debuchy
As a management consultant with BOSSARD CONSULTANTS, Gilles first dealt with strategic, marketing and organizational issues of fixed and mobile telecommunications companies. He conceived and participated to the sales of a consulting offer to help companies to take the internet opportunity on board from both strategic and operational standpoints. An extension of this offer was designed in collaboration with CAP GEMINI on IT aspects for helping the launch of new ISP businesses : called "ISP in a box", this offer was deployed internationally.
End of 1997, he joined CEGETEL, a freshly created company who became the most important alternate Telco in France with a significant position on the corporate customers market. He first took care of marketing for the Public Utilities sector, then of fixed telephony product management for the corporate market.
Aware of the opportunity offered by mobile telephony networks as a data transmission and internet access resource, he co-founded INEXBEE in September 2000. Self-funded and profitable, INEXBEE grew in a difficult market environment as a provider of messaging software for mobile operators, gaining customers all over Europe. He was INEXBEE's CEO, and directly drove sales and marketing. In 2005, Gilles and his partners made a trade sale to BPL Group and Gilles remained with the company till 2007, meeting the objectives set as part of the purchase agreement. He spent this period amplifying the international development of the company, and triggering interest from SFR, the second mobile operator in France, to the point it took a 25% stake in the company. Having left INEXBEE, Gilles has been a private investor and independent consultant until the creation of D&C Partners in 2008.
